GENEPOOL GIVES HOUSTON A PROBLEM. DAY FIVE. 

Sunday night was WrestleMania 25. I like that the number of the WrestleMania is always the same as my age. Like they go together. WrestleMania 25 also happened to be the 25th wrestling show I've ever attended. Twenty-fives were certainly running wild in Houston. Reggie Bush was nowhere to be found. 

Our tickets were in section 130, row 2, seats 11 and 12. The seats were on the floor, but we had trouble seeing, especially when the action spilled outside the arena. 

Attendance was 72,444, which did not set the Reliant Stadium record. I'm ashamed to type what does have the record. 

The Blue Shirt Four who sat in front of us were so excited to be at WrestleMania that they shared a group hug as the show was kicking off. The guy on the right is inviting more people to come and join the hug. He didn't get any takers. 

Kid Rock performed after the first match. I didn't really have a problem with that. I did, however, have a problem when his performance neared 15 minutes. No word yet on if he found a Waffle House after the show. 

Mickey Rourke, right, was sitting in the front row. Chris Jericho, left, goaded Rourke into the ring after winning his match. Mickey took off his three watches, left his hat on the ring corner and entered the ring to confront Jericho. 

After milking the crowd a bit, Mickey and Jericho began a fight, which Mickey ended quickly by ducking a punch and then knocking Jericho to the mat with a nice right hook. 

The celebrity always comes out on top in these encounters. 

The blurred image in mid-air is Jeff Hardy. That crazy bastard climbed the 16-foot ladder and then leapfrogged over the 20-foot ladder. He crashed and burn, however, when his opponent moved out of the way and he landed on his bottom. 

The graphic for The Undertaker's entrance. His match with Shawn Michaels was epic. The energy in the crowd for that one was off the charts. Usually, people stand for the big moments of a match before sitting right back down. For the final 15 minutes of this mach, no one dared sit. 

It was definitely one of the best WrestleMania matches ever. I need some time for it to digest before I place it in my rankings. After the match, Paul said: I need a cigarette. 

When you're nailing the boss' wife, sometimes they let you win the big matches. My favorite wrestler, Randy Orton, lost in the main event to the celebrating Triple H, who is married to the owner's daughter. Not that I'm bitter. 

That brings the title match record at WrestleMania for my favorite five wrestlers to a whopping 4-11. That ain't too good. 

Overall, I was satisfied with the extravaganza. A few things peeved me, but the good outweighed the bad. 

It took two hours for us to get back to our hotel because of all the people boarding the rail. The rail is supposed to be $1.25 to ride, but by the end of the weekend, we all figured out that they don't check for your ticket. Basically, the rail is free.

I'm going to the Cubs-Astros game Tuesday night. My top five all-time baseball players who didn't play for the Cubbies. 

5) Pudge Rodriguez. 

Paul's nickname in high school was Pudge. 

4) Roy Oswalt. 

The power he has in that small frame amazes me. 

3) David Ortiz. 

Led the Red Sox to the promised land and gave me hope for the Cubs. 

2) John Smoltz. 

Smoltz, a lifelong member of the Braves, ... Oops. Sorry, Chuck. 

1) Ozzie Smith.  

Almost made me a Cardinals fan.
